# Use cases

Fintechs, crypto products, AI agents and DCA.

## Fintechs, wallets and payment providers

You already move one-off stablecoin payments. Papaya adds recurring payments without building your own billing contracts.

* Offer monthly subscriptions in the periodic format your users already understand.
* Fund user balances with `depositFor`, so users never top up manually.
* Use a relayer, so users never need a gas token.
* Earn a project fee on every subscription.

Papaya does not touch fiat and does not replace your license or compliance. Those stay with you.

## Crypto-native products

Subscriptions, memberships and paid access for onchain products.

* Monthly plans with periodic subscriptions.
* Usage-based pricing with streaming: charge for exactly the time used.
* Merchant contracts can react to new and cancelled subscriptions automatically.

## AI agents

Agents need to pay for APIs, compute and data continuously, without a human approving each payment.

* An agent subscribes to a service with a rate per second and the payment runs on its own.
* The balance caps how much an agent can spend. When it runs out, the stream stops.
* No transaction per payment, so per-minute pricing is practical.

## DCA and automated investing

High-frequency recurring purchases, such as buying every hour, are expensive when each purchase needs its own transfer. With Papaya the funding stream costs the same whether purchases happen monthly or hourly.

## Creators and communities

Recurring support for creators, DAOs and communities, with funds going directly to the recipient's balance and withdrawable at any time.
